DEALER SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS


SAFETY RECALL # 430 -- FUEL REGULATOR HOSE 1985, 1986 & 1987 MODEL CARS WITH 2.2L TURBO ENGINE


^ This recall applies to all 1985 through 1987 model cars equipped with 2.2L turbocharged engines (intercooled Turbo II engines are not included)

^ The recall will be implemented by geographic areas -- Northern U.S. first because cold temperatures cause the hose to stiffen and possibly leak.

^ Parts will be distributed to involved dealers in each area before owner notification in that area

^ Dealer parts orders will be accepted only after recall launch has been completed in all geographic areas. At that time a quantity limit per order will apply. Order only as needed for scheduled repairs.
