REPAIR PROCEDURE
This procedure is to reset the choke vacuum kick from .070" to .085".
1. Open throttle, close choke, then close throttle to trap fast idle system at closed choke condition.
2. Disconnect vacuum hose from carburetor and replace with hose from auxiliary vacuum source. Apply a vacuum of 15 or more inches of mercury.
3. Apply sufficient closing force to position choke valve at smallest opening possible without distorting linkage system. An internal spring will compress to a stop inside choke system.
4. Measure by inserting drill or gauge in center of area between top of choke valve and air horn wall at primary throttle end of carburetor. New specification is .085".
5. Adjust by rotating allen head screw in center of diaphragm housing.
