8C Ign. System Primary Control Circuit For an Open

1. With ignition switch in Off position, disconnect 10-way connector from [1][2]power module.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between negative terminal of ignition coil and terminal No. 1 of 10-way connector.
3. If ohmmeter shows continuity, replace [1][2]power module.
CAUTION: Before replacing the [1][2]power module check the terminal in cavity No. 1 of the 10-way connector to make sure it is not spread apart causing a poor connection.
4. If ohmmeter shows no continuity, locate and repair open circuit in wiring from terminal No. 1 of power module 10-way electrical connector.
