14C Check DIST. SYNC Pickup Wire For an Open

1. Turn ignition switch to the Run position
2. Connect a digital voltmeter to cavity No. 17 of the logic module blue connector and ground.
3. If voltmeter reads at least 7 volts, repair wire in cavity No. 17 for an open circuit to the sync pickup.
4. If voltmeter reads 0 volts, check for a crushed terminal in cavity No. 17. If it is not crushed replace the logic module.
