Automatic Idle Speed (AIS) Motor Adapter

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect 6-way connector at throttle body.
3. Remove throttle body-to-adapter attaching screws.
4. Remove wiring clips and the two AIS wires from 6-way connector. Lift each locking tab inside connector with a small screwdriver and remove blade terminals. Note position of wires for assembly reference.
5. Remove AIS adapter with motor from rear of throttle body.
6. Remove O-ring and seal from adapter.
7. Reverse procedure to install, using new O-ring and seal. Torque adapter attaching screws to 65 inch lbs.
