1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove screws securing instrument cluster bezel and bezel.
3. Remove screws securing instrument panel pad and raise pad slightly to allow cluster removal.
4. Remove 4 screws securing cluster and pull cluster from dash.
5. Disconnect electrical connectors and speedometer cable, if equipped, then remove cluster.
6. Reverse procedure to install.

1985-88 LANCER & LEBARON GTS

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Place gear selector lever in lowest position, then remove instrument cluster bezel attaching screws and bezel.
3. Remove lower steering column cover, then disconnect gear selector cable at steering column shift housing.
4. Remove mask and lens assembly.
5. Remove speedometer assembly, then disconnect speedometer cable.
6. Remove cluster assembly attaching screws, then pull cluster assembly away from dash panel.
7. Disconnect all electrical connectors from cluster assembly, then remove cluster.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
