Blower Motor Resistor: Description and Operation

In conjunction with the Resister Block, the blower switch, controls the speed of the blower motor and the velocity of the air flow from the outlets.

The Resister Block consists of three helically wound wire resistors, connected to terminals which are mechanically attached to a glass-filled phenolic board. This complete assembly is bolted to the rear face of the plenum.
