SYMPTOM/CONDITION

Subject vehicles on left power bucket seat, or left power 50/50 front split bench seat may have noticeable looseness or shake.

DIAGNOSIS

The above condition is caused by one or both of the following:

FIGURE 1:

^ The seat cushion front outboard attachment weld nut may have pulled through the cushion frame (Figure 1).

FIGURE 3:

^ The seat adjuster front crossmember may have cracked at the cushion attachment (Figure 2).
If either of the above conditions exist, correction will require replacement of the driver's seat cushion frame assembly and installation of a reinforcement bracket to the seat adjuster front crossmember.
