This bulletin is issued as a reminder to use extra care in the application of rustproofing materials on all Chrysler cars and trucks, domestic and imports. Various systems and components are subject to failure if rustproofing material is applied to certain moving parts. To prevent possible damage, rustproofing materials should not be applied to areas where the sprayed materials may interfere with the operation of moving parts.

NOTE: 1. RUSTPROOFING MATERIALS MUST NEVER BE APPLIED TO COMPONENTS THAT GENERATE HEAT OR ARE EXPOSED TO HIGH HEAT CONDITIONS.

2. RUSTPROOFING MATERIALS MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO COVER THE THEFT PREVENTION LABELS ON 1987 PASSENGER CAR MODELS.

1. Entire exhaust system and heat shields, including turbo charger.

2. Engine, engine components, and accessories.

10. Hidden headlamp covers, motors, and linkages located in header and fascia panel in front of radiator support.

11. All locks, key cylinders, power lock motors/solenoids, latches, linkages, and hinges.

12. Power antennas.

13. Plenum (cowl) areas, especially around windshield wiper components.
