Fault Code 13

Fig. 12 ATC wiring harness and lead connectors:

1. Remove computer control, then disconnect wire connector No. 7, and check voltage at terminal pin 5.
2. If voltage is greater than 5 volts, replace computer control and retest system. If voltage is less than 5 volts, proceed to step 3.
3. Locate connector No. 12 at the PVM, then with connector still connected, check voltage at terminal pin 2.
4. If voltage is greater than 5 volts and color codes are correct, repair wire harness. If voltage is less than 5 volts, replace vacuum module, then retest system.It is normal for the computer to display a failure code 14 and/or 15 if the outside air temperature surrounding the vehicle during the diagnostic test is below 30 degrees F. or above 120 degrees F.
