DR-27C Checking For Low Fuel Pressure
This test must be performed with engine warm.
1. Turn ignition switch Off, then release pressure in fuel lines.
2. Remove pressure gauge from before filter and reinstall it after fuel filter.
3. Turn ignition to Run position and press ATM button.
4. Very gently squeeze fuel return line at pressure regulator valve and immediately let go.
5. If fuel pressure increases above 55 psi, replace pressure regulator valve.
6. If fuel pressure does not increase, replace in-tank fuel pump. Before replacing pump, check for contamination in fuel tank that may be plugging pump filter. Check for corrosion at electrical connections.
