DR-24A EGR System Vacuum Supply

This test must be performed with engine warm.

1. With engine warm, disconnect vacuum line at EGR back pressure valve that comes from EGR solenoid.
2. Connect a vacuum gauge to this line, then start engine and raise speed to 2000 RPM.
3. If vacuum gauge reads at least 5 inches, record vacuum reading and proceed to Test 24 step B.
4. If vacuum is below 5 inches, repair vacuum supply from solenoid or throttle body to solenoid.
