DR-20A Checking Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

This test must be performed with engine cold.

1. Connect diagnostic read-out tool to engine test connector.
2. Place system in Sensor Test Mode 04. Multiply reading on display by 10.
3. If display on read-out tool is reading approximately ambient temperature, plus or minus 10°F., proceed to Test 20 step B.
4. If display on read-out tool is not within limits, replace coolant sensor.
