DR-1J AIS Motor Control Wires to Logic Module

1. Connect diagnostic readout tool to the engine harness connector and place the digital voltmeter in the AC voltage position.
2. Place the system in ATM Test Mode 03 and connect the voltmeter between cavities 18 and 22 of the red connector.
3. If voltmeter is pulsating between 0 and 12 volts every two seconds, repair wires of cavity No. 18 or 22 for an open circuit to the idle motor.
4. If voltmeter is not pulsating, replace the logic module.
CAUTION: Before replacing the logic module check the terminals in cavities 18 and 22 of the red connector to make sure they are not crushed causing a poor connection.
