DR-1I Checking AIS Motor For an Open Circuit

1. Connect diagnostic readout tool to the engine harness connector.
2. Connect a digital voltmeter between the terminals of the 6-way connector that goes to the idle motor, set to the AC voltage position.
3. Place the system in the ATM Test Mode 03.
4. If voltmeter is pulsating between 0 and 12 volts every two seconds, replace the idle speed motor.
5. If voltmeter is not pulsating, proceed to Step J.
