DR-1E Park/Neutral Switch Input to Logic Module

1. Turn ignition switch Off, then disconnect blue connector from logic module.
2. Connect an ohmmeter to cavity 12 and ground, then place gear selector in park, reverse, neutral and drive and observe ohmmeter in each position.
3. If ohmmeter shows continuity in all positions, locate and repair short to ground in wire of cavity 12.
4. If ohmmeter shows no continuity in all positions, locate and repair open circuit in wire of cavity 12 to neutral safety switch.
5. If ohmmeter reads as follows:
Park, continuity;
Reverse, no continuity;
Neutral, continuity;
Drive, no continuity,
Replace logic module.
