DR-19A Fault Code 45 Overboost Shut-Off

1. Connect diagnostic read-out tool to engine test connector.
2. Disconnect vacuum line connector from side of wastegate solenoid and connect an auxiliary vacuum supply to it.
3. Apply 15 inches of vacuum to solenoid, then release vacuum.
4. If vacuum gauge indicates within two inches of applied vacuum and immediately drops to zero when released, proceed to Test 19 step B.
5. If vacuum gauge does not indicate as described, locate and repair restriction or leak in vacuum line.
