DR-14A Fault Code 36/36-45-Wastegate Solenoid Circuit

1. Connect diagnostic read-out tool to engine test connector.
2. Connect a voltmeter between green wire of solenoid 4-way connector and ground.
3. Enter system into ATM Test Mode Code 09. Voltmeter should be pulsating between 0 and 14 volts.
4. If voltmeter does not pulsate and indicates within one volt of battery voltage, proceed to Test 14 step B.
5. If voltmeter pulsates between 0 and 3 volts, replace solenoid assembly.
6. If voltmeter does not pulsate and indicates zero to one volt, disconnect logic module red connector. If voltage if now within one volt of battery voltage, replace logic module. If not, locate and repair short to ground in green wire.
