DR-10A Fault Code 31 Canister Purge Solenoid Circuit

1. With diagnostic read-out tool connected to engine test connector, connect a voltmeter to pink wire of solenoid 4-way connector and ground.
2. Place system in ATM Test Mode Code 07. Voltmeter should be pulsating between 0 and 14 volts.
3. If voltmeter reads a steady voltage within one volt of battery voltage, proceed to Test 10 step B.
4. If voltmeter is pulsating between 1 and 3 volts, replace solenoid assembly.
5. If voltmeter is not pulsating but reads zero to one volt, disconnect logic module blue connector. If voltage is now within one volt of battery voltage, replace logic module. If not, repair pink wire for a short to ground.
