6B Resistance Through Throttle Position Sensor

1. With ignition switch in the Off position and throttle position sensor electrical connector disconnected, connect ohmmeter between terminal with black/light blue wire and terminal with orange/white wire of throttle position sensor electrical connector.
2. If resistance is indicated, proceed to Test 6 step C.
3. If resistance is not indicated, check wiring from electrical connector for an open circuit. If wiring is satisfactory, replace throttle position sensor.
