SYMPTOM/CONDITION

Repeated separation of the washer hose from the washer feed nipple, on subject model vehicle liftgates, can be the result of the feed nipple not extending fully through the liftgate. The nipple should extend at least 3/16", if it does not, use the following repair procedure.

PARTS REQUIRED

2 - Spacer PN 0120392

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Remove wiper arm and blade assembly.

2. Raise liftgate and remove lower interior trim panel.

3. Remove the two screws holding the motor to the bracket.

4. Install one spacer P/N 0120392, between motor and bracket at each screw location (2) and install and tighten the two screws.

5. Lower liftgate and install wiper arm and blade.

6. Press hose onto nipple all the way down to the grommet surface. Press guard spring down completely to the end of the hose.

7. Verify wiper and washer operation.

8. Raise liftgate and install interior trim panel.
