Beginning with June, 1985 production, Trenton and Saltillo began installing a new oil filter adapter with a larger diameter adapter-toblock mount. The present adapter is a 3/4" - 16 thread mount vs a 1" -

12 thread mount for the new adapter.


The adapters remain the same size on the oil filter side. Oil filter application and service remain unchanged.


The part number for the 1" oil filter adapter is 4343801.
