SYMPTOM/CONDITION

^ When fuel gauge reads empty, customer may complain that the fuel tank will only accept approximately ten gallons of fuel (equipped with 14 gallon tank).

^ On vehicles equipped with electronic navigator and electronic cluster, when fuel gauge reads empty, navigator range may read approximately 100-130 miles left until empty.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

NOTE: THIS REPAIR ONLY APPLIES TO CLUSTERS WITH BUILD DATES OF 3524 OR EARLIER (DATE STAMPED ON TAG MOUNTED ON BOTTOM OF CLUSTER).

Vehicles with MDH 01-15-XX or earlier, remove cluster and check tag on bottom. Clusters date coded 3524 or earlier must be exchanged at the appropriate Service Exchange Center listed in Technical Service Bulletin #08-01-85.
