Test 16-Step B, Checking ASD Pull-In Coil Circuit

1. Turn ignition switch Off, then disconnect 12-way connector from [1][2]power module.
2. Connect a voltmeter between pin 5 of [1][2]power module and ground, then turn ignition switch to Run position.
3. If voltmeter reads within 1 volt of battery voltage, locate and repair open or short in wire from terminal No. 5.
CAUTION: Make sure the terminal in cavity No. 12 is not spread apart so that it cannot touch the [1][2]power module pin.
4. If voltmeter reads 0 to 1 volt, replace power module.
