DR-22C Sensor Calibration MAP Sensor

This test must be performed with engine cold.

1. With ignition switch in Run position, connect a digital voltmeter between logic module blue electrical connector terminal No. 19 and ground.
2. Disconnect vacuum hose from MAP sensor and connect an auxiliary vacuum supply to MAP sensor.
3. Apply 5 inches of vacuum and record voltage displayed on read-out tool, then apply 20 inches of vacuum and record voltage displayed.
4. Subtract voltage at 20 inches from voltage at 5 inches to get voltage difference.
NOTE: There is no wire in cavity No. 19, however, there is a pin connector in the logic module which is an access point for measuring MAP sensor output voltage.
5. If voltmeter shows a change in voltage between 5 and 20 inches of vacuum of 1.13 to 1.39 volts, proceed to Test 22 step D.
6. If voltage difference is not between 1.13 to 1.39 volts, replace MAP sensor.
