DR-22B Sensor Calibrations Throttle Position

Perform this test with engine cold.

1. Place ignition switch in Run position, then connect voltmeter between logic module blue electrical connector terminal No. 21 and ground.
2. Check voltage with throttle closed and wide open.
3. Voltmeter reading should be as follows:
a. Throttle fully closed, .5 to 1.5 volts. Be sure none of cables that are attached to throttle body are not misadjusted and are holding throttle open.
b. Throttle wide open, at least 3.5 volts.
4. If voltage readings are within specifications, proceed to Test 22 step C.
5. If voltage readings are not within specifications, replace throttle position sensor.
