DR-16A Fault Code 36 Wastegate Solenoid Circuit

1. Connect diagnostic read-out tool to engine test connector.
2. Connect a voltmeter between green wire of dual solenoid 4-way connector and ground.
3. Enter system into ATM Test Mode Code 09. If voltmeter is cycling and solenoid clicks, check circuit for poor connection.
4. If voltmeter does not pulsate and indicates within 1 volt of battery voltage, proceed to Test 16 step B.
5. If voltmeter pulsates between 0 and 3 volts, proceed to Test 16 step C.
6. If voltmeter does not pulsate and indicates 0 to 1 volt, disconnect logic module red connector. If voltage if now within 1 volt of battery voltage, replace logic module. If not, proceed to Test 16 step C.
