DR-14B Checking EGR Solenoid Control Circuit

1. Place ignition switch in Off position, then disconnect logic module blue electrical connector.
2. Connect voltmeter between logic module blue electrical connector terminal No. 6 and ground.
3. Place ignition switch in Run position and note voltmeter reading.
4. If voltmeter reading is within 1 volt of battery voltage, replace logic module.
CAUTION: Before replacing the logic module make sure the terminal in cavity No. 6 is not crushed so that it cannot touch the logic module pin.
5. If voltmeter indicates no voltage, check wiring from blue electrical connector terminal No. 6 to solenoid for open circuit.
