1984 MODELS

1. Remove carburetor from engine and place in suitable holding fixture.
2. Drill 3/32 inch pilot hole at 44° angle behind plug, Fig. 5, then redrill hole to 1/8 inch.
3. Drive out concealment plug with narrow pin punch, Fig. 6.
4. Blow away all metal chips with compressed air. When installing carburetor, remove impact plate and install new flange gasket.
