Cleaning & Inspection
1. Clean carburetor components with suitable carburetor cleaning solvent.
2. Some components such as the choke, vacuum diaphragms, O-rings, electric solenoids, floats and seals can be damaged by solvents. Do not place these components in any liquid, clean their external surfaces with clean cloth or soft brush.
3. Remove dirt with compressed air but do not connect air to vacuum diaphragm fittings.
4. If cleaning solvent recommends water as a rinse, use hot water, then blow all traces of water from passages with air pressure.
5. Never clean jets with wire, drill or other mechanical means.
6. If it is difficult to determine if components are suitable for reuse, replace them.
