Assembly

1. Install sub-EGR valve on throttle valve and check for proper operation.
2. Install jet air control valve on throttle body and tighten screws securely.
3. Install accelerator pump on air horn and tighten screws securely.
4. Install and tighten primary and secondary air bleed jets.
5. Install new O-ring on secondary pilot jet set, slide assembly into position, then install lock and screw and tighten screw securely.
6. Install new O-ring on primary pilot jet set, slide assembly into position, then install lock and screw and tighten screw securely.
7. Install [1][2]air switching valve on air horn and tighten screws securely.
8. Install enrichment jet, then the enrichment valve assembly on air horn and tighten screws securely.
9. Install coasting air valve on air horn and tighten screws securely.
10. Install bowl vent valve assembly, and solenoid valve assembly if equipped, on air horn and tighten screws securely.
11. Position new gaskets on air horn and install primary and secondary pedestals, tightening screws securely.
12. Install and tighten main primary and main secondary jets.
13. Position new O-rings on both venturis and install primary and secondary venturis, then the retainers.
14. Position new O-ring on needle seat, then install new screen assembly on needle seat.
15. Install shim and needle seat into air horn, then the retainer and screw.
16. Position needle and float assembly on air horn and install retaining pin.
17. Adjust float as described under ``On-Vehicle Adjustments.''
18. Position new gaskets on throttle body, then seat main body on throttle body. Install nut, check ball and weight in main body and position new gasket on main body.
19. Install and tighten air horn to main body attaching screws.
20. Install feedback solenoids on air horn.
21. Install throttle position sensor and/or two vacuum hoses on air horn.
22. Connect accelerator operating rod link to throttle lever.
23. Install vacuum chamber on air horn, then connect vacuum hose and secondary throttle lever link.
24. Connect choke unloader link and install E-clip.
25. Install new O-ring over fuel cut-off solenoid, then position solenoid on main body. Tighten mounting screws, connect ground wire and tighten screw.
26. Install throttle opener on air horn, then connect link to carburetor and install E-clip.
27. Replace drilled out tamper-proof choke cover screws, then align punch and scribe marks and ensure that cam lever is properly aligned.
28. Install choke cover and peen over tamper-proof screws, then tighten top screw using small hammer and pointed punch.
29. Install choke water hose and clamps.
