Description of On-Board Diagnostics

The logic module is programmed to monitor various circuits in the EFI system. If a problem is sensed often enough to indicate an actual fault, its fault code is stored in the logic module for display. If the problem ceases to exist or is repaired, the fault code will be cancelled by the logic module after 30 ignition key on/off cycles.
