REPAIR PROCEDURE

NOTE: THE REPAIR CONNECTOR HAS AN IN-LINE QUICK DISCONNECT FOR TURBO AND EFI MODELS. THIS DISCONNECT IS TO BE USED WHEN SETTING IGNITION TIMING ON THESE MODELS AND ALSO WHEN SETTING IDLE SPEED ON TURBO MODELS. THE DISCONNECT IS NOT NECESSARY ON CARBURETED ENGINES AND MAY BE CUT OFF OF SERVICE PART IF DESIRED.

3. Cut off existing coolant connector and wiring at a length equal to each repair connector lead.

4. Splice in and solder new repair connector at these two (2) cut locations and tape splice.

5. Tape new wiring into harness (leaving in-line quick disconnect exposed on EFI and turbo models only).

6. Reconnect battery.
