1. Refer to service manual procedure for setting fast idle speed..

2. Set fast idle speed to the following specifications:

Transmission Present Revised
Application Specification Specification

Automatic 1600 1850
Manual 1500 1700

3. Type the following information on the Authorized Modification Label PN 4275086 (Figure 1).
Upper Section

Fast Idle Speed Specification Revised:

Automatic Transmission 1850 or Manual Transmission 1700 (only type one)

Lower Section

Change Authority - TSB 14-23-84. Dealer Code -- your dealer code. Date - date procedure is performed.

Install label next to or near original VECI label.
NOTE: REFER TO TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN #14-48-83 FOR ADDITIONAL COLD START DIEOUT REPAIRS.
