Air Door Cable: Adjustments

Fig. 1 Removing or installing self-adjust clip:

Position self-adjusting clip on cable core wire 2 inches from loop at heater evaporator cable end. Pry clip into locked position using 1/4 inch tube.

Fig. 2 Control cable connection at door crank:

Align door crank pin with clip and seat cable flag.

Fig. 3 Control cable connection at control panel:

Set control lever in extreme left position. Attach cable core wire to control lever pin and snap flag into A/C heater control. Install control assembly and move control lever to extreme right to adjust cable length.
