Recall 82V092000: Trip Computer Wired Improperly

The travel computer system wiring, on the involved vehicles, may be improperly connected. this condition can cause damage to internal components. The wiring will be reconnected to ensure proper functioning of ignition system.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH OPTIONAL TRAVEL COMPUTER SYSTEMS.

SYSTEM: ELECTRICAL; TRAVEL COMPUTER SYSTEM, WIRING.

Consequences of Defect: Damage to internal components of the systems interface module could affect the engine ignition system causing loss of ignition along with the inability to restart the engine. This presents a traffic hazard from which an accident could result.
