1. With oil pan removed, remove screw securing oil pump to cylinder block.
2. Reverse procedure to install. Torque oil pump attaching screws to 200 inch lbs.

NOTE: The oil pump must fully seat on the cylinder block before the mounting bolts are tightened. Check for proper seating by rotating pump body on block. The pump body should move a few degrees in both directions with no further movement into the block. If not, mating surfaces should be cleaned of any foreign material preventing proper seating, otherwise damage to oil pump, pump driveshaft and gear, or distributor drive may result.
