When installing piston and rod assembly, indentation on top of piston must face towards timing belt side of engine, Fig. 33. The oil hole on connecting rod must face timing belt side of engine and be on same side as indented mark on piston.

Connecting rod clearance should be 0.005 - 0.013 inch.
