Shift Shaft and Fork Assemblies Assemble





1. Using a hammer, install the speed selector stop pin if it was removed.





2. Install the shift lever.





3. Using a hammer, install the 3rd and 4th fork.





4. Using a hammer, install the fork retaining bolt on the 3rd and 4th shift lever.





5. Using a hammer, install the stop pin on the 3rd and 4th shift lever.





6. Install the 1st and 2nd fork.





7. Using a hammer, install the fork pin in the 1st and 2nd shift lever. Be careful with the anchor bolt that goes on the bar.





8. Using a hammer, install the 1st and 2nd speed stop pin on the shift lever.





9. Install the reverse fork.





10. Using a hammer, install the fork pin on the 5th speed and reverse shift lever.
