LPG Fuel Return Hose Replacement (Distribution Block to Fuel Tank Drain Valve 3 Tank)

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the fuel lines. Refer to LPG Fuel Line Draining LPG Fuel Line DrainingLPG Fuel Line Draining (3 Tank Feed and Return) LPG Fuel Line Draining (3 Tank Feed and Return).

2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement Service and Repair




3. Remove the fuel return hose (1) from the distribution block.

4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.




5. Remove the fuel return hose retainer bolt (1) from the retainer (2).

6. Remove the fuel return hose (3) from the retainer (2).




7. Remove the fuel return hose retainer bolt (1) from the retainer (2).

8. Remove the fuel return hose (3) from the retainer (2).




9. Remove the fuel return hose retainer bolt (1) from the retainer (2).

10. Remove the fuel return hose (3) from the retainer (2).




11. Remove the fuel return hose retainer bolt (1) from the retainer (2).

12. Remove the fuel return hose (3) from the retainer (2).




13. Remove the fuel return hose retainer bolt (1) from the retainer (2).

14. Remove the fuel return hose (3) from the retainer (2).




15. Remove the fuel return hose (1) from the fuel tank drain valve.

16. Remove the fuel return hose (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the fuel return hose (1) to the vehicle.

Caution: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution Component Fastener Tightening Caution.

2. Install the fuel return hose (1) to the fuel tank drain valve and tighten to 18 Nm (13 lb ft).





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

3. Install the fuel return hose (3) to the retainer (2).

4. Install the fuel return hose retainer bolt (1) to the retainer (2) and tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb ft).




5. Install the fuel return hose (3) to the retainer (2).

6. Install the fuel return hose retainer bolt (1) to the retainer (2) and tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb ft).




7. Install the fuel return hose (3) to the retainer (2).

8. Install the fuel return hose retainer bolt (1) to the retainer (2) and tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb ft).




9. Install the fuel return hose (3) to the retainer (2).

10. Install the fuel return hose retainer bolt (1) to the retainer (2) and tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb ft).




11. Install the fuel return hose (3) to the retainer (2).

12. Install the fuel return hose retainer bolt (1) to the retainer (2) and tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb ft).

13. Lower the vehicle.




14. Install the fuel return hose (1) to the distribution block and tighten to 18 Nm (13 lb ft).

15. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement Service and Repair
