Installation Procedure

1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LE5 or LE9) Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.

2. Use M8 x 1.25 double ended studs with 30 mm engagement to the shock tower and 16 mm engagement to the EN-28467-13 shock tower adapter.





3. Install the EN-28467-13 - adapter(1) and J-28467-5A - front support assembly(2) to the top of the left and right strut tower.

4. Install the J-28467-3 - main support beam(3) transversely across the vehicle between both J-28467-5A - front support assemblies.





5. From the EN-28467-B - fixture, install the J-28467-2A - radiator shelf tube(1) on top of the J-28467-3 - strut tower tube(2) above the engine front (right back) lift hook bracket.

6. Install the round tube of the J-28467-4A - front support assembly(3) through the large hole in the J-28467-2A - radiator shelf tube.

7. Locate the J-28467-4A - front support assembly to the upper tie bar.

8. Install the J-28467-9 - 7/16 inch x 2.0 inch quick-release pin(4) through the top hole in the J-28467-4A - front support assembly.





9. Install the J-28467-1A - cross bracket assembly(1).

10. Hand tighten the J-28467-1A - cross bracket assembly wing nuts (2).





11. Install the J-28467-7A - hook through the J-28467-6A - assembly.

12. Install the EN-28467-34 - nut and washer to the J-28467-7A - hook.

13. Repeat the previous 2 steps in order to assemble 2 lift hooks and brackets.





14. Install one of the lift hook and bracket assemblies (1) to the engine support fixture long bar (2).

15. Install the other lift hook and bracket assembly (3) to the J-28467-2A - radiator shelf tube(4) above the engine front lift bracket.





16. Install the J-28467-7A - hook through the engine rear lift bracket (2).





17. Install the J-28467-7A - hook(3) through the engine front lift bracket (4).

18. Hand tighten the EN-28467-34 - nuts(5) in order to remove all slack from the engine support fixture assembly.
