Engine Mount Replacement - Left Side
Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer to Engine Mounting Caution (Engine Mounting Caution).
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the engine mount to engine mount frame bracket bolts (1).
Caution: Refer to Engine Lifting Caution (Engine Lifting Caution).
Note: When raising the engine only raise enough to separate the engine mount from the engine mount bracket. Raising any further will require removal of the fan shroud or the exhaust pipe.
3. Place a suitable adjustable jack on the lower engine boss, raise the engine. Only raise the engine enough to separate the engine mount to engine mount bracket.
4. Remove the engine mount to engine bolts (1).
5. Remove the engine mount.
6. Remove the engine mount bracket bolts, if necessary.
7. Remove the engine mount bracket, if necessary.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the engine mount bracket to the frame, if necessary.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).
2. Install the engine mount bracket bolts (1), if necessary and tighten to 58 Nm (43 lb ft).
3. Position the engine mount to the engine.
4. Install the engine mount to engine mount bolts (1).
5. Install the engine mount to engine bolts and tighten to 58 Nm (43 lb ft).
6. Using the adjustable jack lower the engine until the mount rests on the bracket.
7. Install the engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 65 Nm (48 lb ft).
8. Lower the vehicle.
