Transmission Heat Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the two bolts securing the transmission heat shield to the cross member.
3. Remove the transmission heat shield from the cross member.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the transmission heat shield to the cross member.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the two bolts securing the transmission heat shield to the cross member and tighten to 17 Nm (13 lb ft).
3. Lower the vehicle.
