Fuel Injection Fuel Return Pipe Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the charge air inlet pipe. Refer to Charged Air Cooler Hoses/Pipes Replacement (Inlet) (Charged Air Cooler Hoses/Pipes Replacement (Inlet))Charged Air Cooler Hoses/Pipes Replacement (Outlet) (Charged Air Cooler Hoses/Pipes Replacement (Outlet)).




3. Remove the engine wiring harness bracket bolts (2), position the wiring harness and bracket aside.




4. Remove the fuel return hose clips (1).




5. Disconnect the fuel return hose from the injectors.




6. Disconnect the fuel return hose from the fuel line.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the fuel return hose to the fuel line.




2. Connect the fuel return hose to the injectors.




3. Install the fuel return hose clips (1).




4. Position the wiring harness and bracket. Install the engine wiring harness bracket bolts (2).
5. Install the charge air inlet pipe. Refer to Charged Air Cooler Hoses/Pipes Replacement (Inlet) (Charged Air Cooler Hoses/Pipes Replacement (Inlet))Charged Air Cooler Hoses/Pipes Replacement (Outlet) (Charged Air Cooler Hoses/Pipes Replacement (Outlet)).
6. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement (Service and Repair).
