Stability System Not Ready Indicator Inoperative
Circuit/System Description
The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the stability system not ready indicator during the IPC bulb check or when the electronic brake control module (EBCM) sends a serial data message to the IPC commanding the indicator ON from the instrument panel cluster (IPC).
Diagnostic Aids
Replace the IPC if the stability system not ready indicator intermittently fails to illuminate during the bulb check.

Circuit/System Verification
Ignition OFF for 5 seconds, Ignition ON, Observe the stability system not ready indicator. The stability system not ready indicator should illuminate on the IPC.
If the stability system not ready indicator does not illuminate, test or replace the IPC.
