Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

HEADLAMP SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the left side knee bolster and bracket.
2. Position the left side of the instrument panel (I/P) cluster bezel.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp switch.




4. Remove the headlamp switch from the instrument panel cluster trim plate by releasing the retainers on the instrument panel cluster trim plate from the headlamp switch.
5. Remove the headlamp switch from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the headlamp switch to the vehicle.
2. Connect the headlamp switch to the instrument panel cluster trim plate by pushing on the switch in order to engage the retainers on the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
3. Connect the electrical connector to the headlamp switch.
4. Reposition the left side of the I/P cluster bezel to the fully installed position.
5. Install the left side knee bolster bracket and bolster.
