Exhaust Pipe Replacement - Right Side (6.6L (LBZ/LLY))

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the turbocharger exhaust pipe.
2. Remove the exhaust right pipe bolts in the proper sequence.




3. Remove the right exhaust pipe, bracket and gaskets.
4. Discard the gaskets.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the right exhaust pipe with a NEW gasket to the turbocharger. Align the tab on the gasket at the turbocharger to face inward.
2. Loosely install the bolts.
3. Position the right exhaust pipe with a NEW gasket to the exhaust manifold. Align the tab on the gasket to face outward.
4. Loosely install the bolts.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

5. Tighten the right exhaust pipe bolts in the proper sequence.

Tighten the bolts to 53 N.m (39 lb ft).

6. Install the turbocharger exhaust pipe.
