Power Steering Reservoir Inlet Pipe/Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Notice:
Refer to Power Steering Hose Disconnected Notice in Service Precautions.

Install a drain pan under the vehicle.
2. Siphon the fluid from the reservoir to prevent excessive spillage.
3. Remove the reservoir inlet hose (3) from the power brake booster (2).
4. Remove the reservoir inlet hose (3) from the reservoir.
5. Remove the reservoir inlet hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Notice:
Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Route the hose in the same position the hose occupied prior to removal.
2. Install the reservoir inlet hose (3) to the reservoir.
3. Install the reservoir inlet hose (3) to the power brake booster (2).
4. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering System.
5. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
