Latch Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Compartment

LATCH REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) COMPARTMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the instrument panel (I/P) compartment door.
2. Remove the screws (1) from the I/P compartment latch.
3. Remove the I/P compartment latch from the I/P compartment door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the instrument panel (I/P) compartment latch to the I/P compartment door.
2. Install the screws (1) to I/P compartment latch.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the I/P compartment latch screws (1) to 1 N.m (9 lb in).

3. Close the I/P compartment door.
