Seat Cushion Frame Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat from the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear Bench (Seat Replacement - Rear Bench).
2. Remove the seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Rear (Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Rear).
3. Remove the seat belt buckles.
4. Remove the lower anchor bolt for the center seat belt retractor, if equipped.





Important: Note the position and length of the bolts removed. This will assist with reassembly.

5. Remove the bolts retaining the seat back hinges to the seat cushion frame.




6. Remove the seat cushion frame.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the seat cushion frame.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts that retain the seat back hinges to the seat cushion frame in the locations noted during disassembly.

Tighten the bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

3. Install the lower anchor bolt for the center seat belt retractor, if equipped.
4. Install the seat belt buckles.
5. Install the seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Rear (Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Rear)
6. Install the rear seat into the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear Bench (Seat Replacement - Rear Bench).
